Privacy

What we store
- Your messaging-platform user id (e.g. your Telegram id) so we can message you back.
- Your latitude and longitude (used to compute prayer times locally) and your IANA timezone.
- Your prayer-time settings: calculation method, madhab, reminder offset.
- The last 20 turns of your conversation with the bot, so it can keep context.
What we don’t store
- Your full message history beyond the rolling 20-turn buffer.
- Your contacts, your other chats, or anything outside the conversation with our bot.
- Anything we don’t need to deliver a prayer reminder.
What we never log
Your latitude and longitude are never written to logs. Your bot token, our API keys, and the bodies of your messages are never logged at info level or above.
Third parties
We don’t share your data with third parties. Prayer times are computed locally on our servers using the open-source adhan library — no external prayer-time API ever sees your location.
How to delete your data
Send “delete me” to the bot in Telegram and we’ll wipe your account on the spot, or email denizhanyigitbas@gmail.com and we’ll do it for you.
