What Salah Buddy is

Salah Buddy is a prayer-reminder service for the five daily Islamic prayers, available on Telegram and (where supported) by SMS to US phone numbers. It is a personal tool, not a religious authority — calculation methods, madhab choices, and reminder timing are configurable, and we don't dispense scholarly opinions.

Eligibility

You should be at least 13 years old to use Salah Buddy. The SMS channel is currently available to US phone numbers only.

SMS terms

• By signing up for SMS, you consent to receive prayer-reminder text messages from Salah Buddy at the phone number you provide. Up to 5 messages per day, one per prayer.
• Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for service information.
• We never send marketing, promotional content, or third-party messages. Reminders only.

No warranty, no liability for missed prayers

Salah Buddy is provided as-is. Carriers, networks, and devices fail occasionally; a reminder may be late or undelivered. Salah Buddy is a helper — your prayers are still your responsibility, and we take no liability for missed or delayed reminders. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that reminders will be free of errors.

Acceptable use

Don't use Salah Buddy to harass others, register phone numbers you don't own, attempt to compromise our infrastructure, or scrape the service. We reserve the right to revoke access from accounts that abuse the service.

Termination

You can leave at any time — reply "delete me" on Telegram or STOP on SMS, or email denizhanyigitbas@gmail.com. We'll wipe your account on the spot.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll update this page and note the date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
